All bonuses granted by weapon ranks are applied only when using that specific type of weapon. Ranks must be taken in order.
Novice: These warriors have begun to take the path of the blade. Each rank costs 80 Skill points to obtain.
Rank 1: +1 Accuracy
Rank 2: +1 Damage
Rank 3: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +2)
Rank 4: +1 Damage (Total bonus +2)
Rank 5: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +3)

Adept: These warriors have gotten used to the most basic usage of their weapon of choice, rising to a new rank and gaining better control of their weapons. Each rank from this point costs 100 Skill Points.
Rank 6: Controlled Strike:
May sacrifice up to 2 points of accuracy for damage, or 2 points of damage for accuracy (taken and given from total accuracy, cannot be used to increase the maximum accuracy cap, but can make you go below your prime accuracy) I.E. -2 Accuracy for +2 Damage, +1 Accuracy for -1 Damage, etc.
Rank 7: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +4)
Rank 8: +1 Damage (Total bonus +3)
Rank 9: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +5)
Rank 10: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +6)
Skillful: These few warriors have risen to a new tier of skill with the blade, now starting to garner a real name for themselves in the world. Skill ranks beyond this point cost 110 Skill Points.
Rank 11: Dual Wielding: This allows the user to utilize an offhand weapon in most situations, granting +1 attack per round with the second weapon. (If the warrior already has 3 attacks per round, and gains this skill, they will have 4 attacks. 3 With their main weapon, and one with their offhand weapon)
Rank 12: +1 Damage (Total bonus +4)
Rank 13: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +7)
Rank 14: +1 Damage (Total bonus +5)
Rank 15: +1 Accuracy (Total bonus +8)
Expert:

Few warriors ever are raised to this tier of skill, shining over all who are beneath them. Through their experience, they can outmaneuver lesser warriors with ease. Ranks beyond this point cost 125 Skill Points.
Rank 16:
Swordsman's Spirit: These warriors are so honed in their instincts that with a simple look, they are able to test the willpower of lesser warriors, instilling a terror that will cause enemies to flee. (1 Target per 5 levels attained, Willpower -1 per 5 levels attained to resist the compulsion to flee in fear)
Rank 17:
+1 Accuracy (Total bonus +9)
Rank 18:
+1 Dual Wielding Attack (This rank raises the user's skill with wielding an offhand weapon, granting a total of 2 attacks with a second weapon.)
Rank 19:
+1 Damage (Total bonus +6)
Rank 20:
Master's Grace:

Warriors of this caliber are afforded a greater understanding of battle, and are able to further enhance their abilities depending on their need. This rank increases the benefits of the controlled strike ability, allowing the warrior to displace up to 6 points of accuracy for damage, or damage for accuracy. The same rules apply in regards to prime and caps of accuracy.
Master Rank: Blade dancer:
Swordsman of this caliber are rare to behold and often seem to be poetry in motion with their grace and skill with a blade. Attaining this master rank costs 250 Skill points, and grants +1 Accuracy (Total +10), +1 Defense, +1 Attack per round and +1 Damage (Total +7). Swordsman who have attained this rank of skill are now just as dangerous with one weapon as with two, and no longer have a limit on how they attack (They may choose to wield one weapon, or two, and retain the same number of attacks they would have dual wielding even if they wield only a single weapon.)
