Varalyn Declen Celest was born the second daughter to the Elvin house of Celest a common family with the elvin lands. Her father "Teran Celest" was a well known craftsman, her mother Vera 'Declen' Celest a simple teacher of the elven children. Vara's elder sister Myria Celest Raesni - had just married into the house of Raesni to the eldest son of a prominante elvin family.

A typical small framed evlin female Vara was never the out going type, keeping to herself and her normal satchel of books. Since her race lived much longer then others she found out at a "young" age she was "gifted" in the arts of light magic. Typically her "clan" of elves stayed along the arts of craftsmanship, or fire magic skills.

Bored of the duldrums of day to day life Vara set off with a book, a journal, a whip her mother gave her for an unknown reason. Last but not least Vara also had her quill and a vial of ink. Not to forget the clothes on her back and a satchel of clothes with her. Any respectable elf would not been seen in anything less.
